Western Power Distribution (WPD) owns and operates the electricity network that delivers electricity to around two and a half million customers in South West England and South and West Wales.
WPD is totally committed to providing a constant and reliable supply of electricity. The company is responsible for the maintenance of the network; repair of the network if faults occur; reinforcing the network to cope with changes in demand; and extending the network to reach new customers.
The continuation of service provided by WPD is critical and the I.T. used within the company is of the utmost importance to its operations.
