IBM's iSeries i8 range was launched in 2003 and still has a large install base in the UK. It still provides Enterprise power and reliability but its age now means that values in the used market can be as little as 10% of its original list value.
We always hold i800, i810 and i825 systems in stock. Even i870s and i890s trade occasionally and can be sourced for clients if required. If you are currently running i8xx systems then you will know that many of the upgrades and additional features are now withdrawn from 'new' sale. Covenco can continue to provide the disk storage, features, memory and expansion towers that you may still require. We will be able to support the i8XX install base for some years to come.
We can also supply the entire IBM range of external storage products, from tape libraries, to SAN gateways and DS storage subsystems.
