The IBM IntelliStation POWER 9114 Model 275, a high-performance desk side workstation, is an affordable 64-bit symmetric multiprocessing (SMP) system that offers significant price/performance improvement over previous models. With its 2D and 3D graphics adapters, it is the ideal single-seat MCAD design and analysis solution. The IntelliStation 275 uses one-way 1.45 GHz processor which includes 8 MB of level 3 cache. The 4 GB of main memory can be expanded to 16 GB for faster performance and exploitation of 64-bit addressing. These are available as a configuration which includes two 36GB SCSI disk drives with the capability to add a further two drives for future expansion, allowing a total internal storage capacity of 1.2 TB using 300 GB drives
