The 3494 library supports up to 132 3592 tape drives or up to 92 E1A or H1A 3590 drives. It supports up to 6,240 cartridges which provide a physical capacity of up to 1.87PBs. It can be attached to the IBM iSeries, pSeries, xSeries & zSeries machines, along with open systems running HP-UX, Sun Solaris and Windows
Covenco hold the libraries, expansion frames and features in stock and they can be made immediately available for upgrades or maintenance.
