Although some have been withdrawn from marketing by IBM they still provide solutions to modern back-up requirements, and the hardware supplied by Covenco is guaranteed to be supported on an IBM maintenance contract.
Complete units and parts can be supplied direct from stock should they be required for repairs, with prices typically 70-95% off the original list prices.
Covenco can supply the necessary adapter cards to directly attach any of these tape drives to an IBM system.
