The TS3310 Tape Library is based around a 5EIA high base library frame, the L5B, which includes space for two LTO tape units and 36 cartridge slots. This can be upgraded by the addition E9U expansion units that can house up to a further 6 tape units and 92 cartridge cells. LTO 3 and 4 is supported with LVD, Fibre and SAS connectivity.
The 3583 Tape Libraries provide up to 6 drives and either 18, 36, 54 or 72 tape cartridge slots, offering up to 28.8TB of storage (native). LVD & HVD SCSI, and 2GB Fibre Channel Interfaces are available, and the drives can be LTO 1, LTO 2 & LTO 3.
Covenco always carry stock of the Libraries and the drives, so any configuration is possible in 48-72hrs, with prices for the older drives now as low as 80% off original list prices.
