TS3500 Code Level Issue

Following some on site work we have found that firmware code level 7422 on a TS3500 (L32) creates additional errors.

The library reported both scanner and start up failures, giving the impression of hardware faults. To resolve this there are two options:-

1/ Take the library firmware down to 7368

2/ Replace the gripper assembly for a universal gripper. The universal gripper has blue tabs on the side of it.

If you choose to replace the gripper, this must be performed by IBM who will have to update the gripper type using an IBM tool and finally run a calibration of the gripper.
